Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra Chairman Sacrifices Cows for Bangabandhu Family

Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra Chairman and Bashundhara Group Managing Director Sayem Sobhan Anvir has sacrificed two cows in the names of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SM), Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and his (Bangabandhu) family members. Marking Eid-ul-Azha, he sacrificed two cows in Bashundhara Residential Area in Baridhara of the capital on Wednesday. Being imbued with the spirit of sacrifice, the Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra Chairman surrendered him before almighty Allah on the day of Eid-ul-Azha and dedicated two cows to Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SM). Then, he sacrificed the cows in the names of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib, Sheikh Russel, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, her sister Sheikh Rehana, their brothers Sheikh Jamal and Sheikh Kamal. Speaking on the occasion, Sayem Sobhan Anvir said, “Eid-ul-Azha inculcates in us the greatness of sacrifice. It also teaches us the way to annihilate hidden beastliness in mind and to be purified.” This is for the first time that two cows have been sacrificed and meat was distributed among the poor and destitute in the names of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SM), Bangabandhu and his family members and the trend will continue. Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SM) is preacher of Islam and guide for Muslims while Bangabandhu is architect of independent Bangladesh, the Bashundhara Group Managing Director said. He said, “Bangabandhu worked for welfare of the country’s people. He along with most of his family members was assassinated. His daughter Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is taking the country forward with dynamic leadership. I sacrificed cows in their names and prayed to Allah for them. This is how I would like to sacrifice in their names and share Eid joy with the poor and destitute throughout my life.”
