60 disadvantaged people receive blankets in Gaibandha

Bashundhara Shuvosangho has distributed blankets among 60 underprivileged people in Gaibandha, including 20 elderly persons of an old home in the area.
Shuvosangho District Unit Secretary Shahana Begum Shanu and Organising Secretary Ahsania Dhaga inaugurated the distribution event on Monday while Kaler Kantho Correspondent Amitabh Das Himun was present.

Old Home Director Shahana Yasmin Lucky praised the humanitarian work of Bashundhara Group and Shuvosangho.
She established the institution in her name in 2018 after the death of her mother, Shahana added.
The distribution of blankets included 20 elderly people, 25 children and 15 commoners, including night guards, rickshaw-pullers and low-paid workers.
