Bashundhara Shuvosangho continues support for flood victims in Feni

Bashundhara Shuvosangho continues humanitarian support for the flood victims in different parts of Feni.

Members of the volunteer organisation distributed food packages among 50 flood-affected families of Jayloskor Union in Daganbhuiyan Upazila of the district. Each pack contains rice, pulses, potatoes, onions, salt and water.

Bashundhara Shuvosangho also sent 100 kilogram rice to Kazi Dighi Sultania Madrasa in Chania Union, Feni Sadar.
Lions Club of Feni City President Deen Mohammad, Bashundhara Shuvosangho district unit President Faizul Haque Bappi, Vice-President Anwarul Islam and Kaler Kantho correspondent Asaduzzaman Dara were present on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Faizul Haque Bappi said that Bashundhara Shuvosangho will continue different activities in Feni this month.
“We will start the rehabilitation programme, including repairing the houses of some families, very soon,” he said. On the other hand, Bashundhara Shuvosangho on Tuesday provided food support to the family of farmer Saiful Islam who was killed in recent student movement in Phulpur of Mymensingh.

Besides, members of Bashundhara Shuvosangho planted coconut and flower saplings on the premises of Ulipur Adarsha College in Kurigram on the day. Upazila unit President Noore Alam Siddique and adviser Sazzadul Islam Sazu were present on the occasion.
