6,891 Students Get Free Bashundhara Khatas

Bashundhara Group, the country’s leading business conglomerate, distributed Bashundhara brand of khatas (exercise book) among 6,891 students of 15 educational institutions at a programme in Banchharampur of Brahmanbaria on Wednesday. Bashundhara Foundation, a sister concern of Bashundhara Group, gave out a total of 22,340 notebooks to the pupils on behalf of the Group. Publisher of daily sun Maynal Hossain Chowdhury distributed the exercise books, reports banglanews24.com. Besides, Ruhul Amin, principal of Banchharampur Sobhania Islamia Alim Madrasa, Deputy General Manager of Bashundhara Group Maimun Kabir and Bashundhara Foundation Manager Md. Mosharraf Hossain were present, among others. Students of 14 primary schools and Islamia Alim Madrasa received the exercise books. A total of 790 students of Sobhania Alia Madrasa, 340 students of Durgarampur Government Primary School, 388 students of Paratoli East Government Primary School, 381 students of Paratoli West Government Primary School, 876 students of Banchharampur Model Government Primary School, 389 students of Thana Colony Government Primary School, 509 students of Jagannathpur Government Primary School, 527 students of Doshdona North Government Primary School, 361 students of Doshdona South Para Government Primary School, 241 students of Asadnagar East Para Government Primary School, 350 students of Asadnagar West Para Government Primary School, 198 students of Sharifpur Government Primary School, 332 students of Fatehpur Government Primary School, 461 students of Kanchanpur Government Primary School and 755 students of Pahariakandi Government Primary School were handed out the exercise books. Receiving the writing materials, students of the schools were filled with joy and happiness. Zannatul Ferdousi, a fourth-grader of Banchharampur Sobhania Alia Madrasa, said, “Bashundhara Group has given lots of exercise books as gifts. I will practise writing in these khatas and show them to all of my family members at home.” Expressing her joy, eleventh-grader Rima, said, “Bashundhara Group always helps us by providing education materials. Today, they have given us exercise books free of cost.” Sabbir, a fourth-grader of the madrasa (orphan section), said, “Bashundhara Group gives us tiffin at noon for free. Now, they have given exercise books. My friends also got exercise books.”
