Bashundhara cement to be used in Ghorashal Combined Cycle Power Plant

Bashundhara Cement, the leading brand of country's cement industry, will be used in the proposed 300-450 MW Ghorashal Combined Cycle Power Plant (GCCPP) in Narshigndi, which will be constructed by Chinese Northeast Electric Power Engineering Company (NEPEC). A deal was signed today by Bashundhara Group Managing Director (MD) Sayem Sobhan Anvir and NEPEC project manager Leu Seng at Hotel the Meridian in the capital. NEPEC agreed to use Bashundhara cement after visiting the largest cement factory in the country which use the latest VRM system. At least 70 metric tons cement will be used in the two years project. Among others Loung Meen, the site Manager of NEPEC, was present in the programme. Bashundhara cement company’s sales and other departments executives were also attended the programme.
