Saif Power Group Will Use Bashundhara Cement And Stone

Country’s one of the top cement brands Bashundhara cement and its stones will be used in the Mongla port development project.

A deal regarding this matter was signed between the country’s leading business conglomerate Bashundhara Group and Saif PowerTec on Monday.

Considering quality and efficiency, developing company Saif PowerTec choose Bashundhara Cement and its stones for constructing two jetties at the port.

In presence of Bashundhara Group Vice Chairman Safwan Sobhan, Sayem Sobhan Anvir, Managing director of Bashundhara Group and Tarafdar Ruhul Saif, Director (BOD) of Saif PowerTec signed the deal on behalf of their respective organistions.

Bashundhara Industrial Complex Limited and Bashundhara Multi Trading Limited of Bashundhara Group engaged in the deals with E-engineering Limited and Saif Port Holdings Limited of Saif Power Group.

The agreements signing ceremony was held at Bashundhara Industrial Headquarters-1 at 3:45 pm on Monday.

According to the agreement, Bashundhara Industrial Complex will provide cement to the E-Engineering and Bashundhara Multi Trading will supply stones for the development of the port jetties constructed by Saif Port Holdings.

E-Engineering, a concern of Saif PowerTec, will construct the jetties and Saif Port Holdings will maintain the operations of the jetties for next thirty years. The company handled 55 percent of containers in the Chattogram Port.

Among others, Bashundhara Group sector-C Chief Financial Officer Mirza Mujahidul Islam, Bashundhara Cement Chief Marketing Officer Khandker Kingshuk Hossain, Saif PowerTec Directors Mohammad Aminuzzaman, Altaf Hossain, Major Jahidur Rahman, Executive Director Farukh Ahmed Khan, project coordinator Farhad Hossain were also present on the occasion.
