Radio Capital Goes ON AIR

Radio Capital 94.8 FM, an outlet of East West Media Group Limited, went on air on Friday.   It will go into its commercial and formal operation soon. But the audience may hear the radio through 94.8 FM band right now. A function was held at the radio station premises to mark the airing of the radio.  Kaler Kantho editor Imdadul Haque Milon and Bangladesh Pratidin editor and also CEO of the radio Naim Nizam switched it on to launch the journey of the outlet.   Daily Sun advisory editor Amir Hossain, executive editor Shiabur Rahman, Kaler Kantho executive editor Mostafa Kamal, Dhaka Union of Journalists president Saban Mahmud, News24 senior news editor Anwar Sadi and Radio Capital executive director Mehdi Malek Sajib attended the function.   Speaking on the occasion, they said all concerns of Bashundhara Group are the best in their respective fields. The guidance of Bashundhara Group Chairman Ahmed Akbar Sobhan and Managing Director Sayem Sobhan Anvir will take the Radio Capital to the climax of its popularity.  The commercial operation of the radio will take place in December, the month of victory.   It is the sixth member of the East West Media Group Limited (EWMGL) which is a sister concern of the country’s largest business conglomerate Bashundhara Group.   Other outlets are Daily Kaler Kantho, Bangladesh Pratidin, Daily Sun, Banglanews24.com and TV channel News 24.
