Kaler Kantho steps into 8th year

Kaler Kantho, one of the popular and widely circulated national dailies of the country, steps into the 8th year of its publication today.
The paper was launched on January 10, 2010 with a slogan of “Whole truth, and not partial one” and within only seven years it has received much popularity.
The celebration of the publication ceremony of the paper was inaugurated Monday evening by Sayem Sobhan Anvir, the Managing Director of Bashundhara Group and East West Media Group Ltd at the conference room of the EWMGL.

He cut a giant cake on this occasion and expressed the hope that Kaler Kantho will continue to succeed also in the days to come.
Those who were present at the programme include Kaler Kantho editor Imadadul Haq Milon, Bangladesh Pratidin editor and CEO of News24 and Radio Capital Naem Nizam, editor in chief of Banglanews24.com Alamgir Hossain, acting editor of daily sun Amir Hossain, Kaler Kantho advisory editor Amit Habib and executive editor Mostofa Kamal.

On the occasion of the 7th publication anniversary of Kaler Kantho, a day-long goodwill exchange programme will be held at the office of the daily today.
