Bashundhara MD celebrates birthday with 11,000 orphan children

It is fact that the lives of orphan children are unlike others of their similar age. Their childhoods are confined to four walls of orphanages. People don’t have enough time to give them attention and love. But the creator sometimes inspires any of his chosen persons to stand by them and to bring smile to the helpless kids. Bashundhara Group Managing Director Sayem Sobhan Anvir, well-known for his humanitarian gesture, came out with an exceptional idea. He celebrated his birthday and shared the joy with 11,000 orphan children on Monday. The children of 17 orphanages at Dhaka and its outskirts received rich foods arranged by Sayem Sobhan Anvir marking his birthday. Bashundhara Group Managing Director arranged the food with a view to breaking the cycle of stagnant life of orphans and make them feel that somebody is beside them on this earth. Visionary corporate leader and sports patron, Sayem Sobhan Anvir have a dream to do something for the helpless children. He did not want his birthday celebration to be confined to affluent and elite class. Instead of receiving birthday gifts, he opted to reach out to the orphan children with some gifts. A spot visit shows that a festive mood prevailed among the children in orphanages due to arrangement of celebrating birthday of Sayem Sobhan Anvir with them. Expressing joy, the children of the orphanages tendered gratitude to the Bashundhara Group Managing Director and prayed for his wellbeing and prosperity. The authorities of the orphanages were also soaked in love of Sayem Sobhan Anvir.
