Bashundhara Group runs business normally

Bashundhara Group is operating its business normally amid the Covid-19 pandemic as the industrial conglomerate is leading cement market in the country. Bashundhara Group Managing Director Sayem Sobhan Anvir made the remarks while exchanging views with distributors in cement sector at a recent meeting at his residence in the capital. A total of 150 distributors from across the country took part in the view-exchange meeting, said a news release on Wednesday. Speaking on the occasion, Sayem Sobhan Anvir advised distributors to keep patience in doing business to maintain growth of cement sales in retail market. Bashundhara Group has been leading the country's cement market with two established brands -- Bashundhara Cement and King Brand Cement. The Bashundhara Group MD also emphasised the need for making engineers, dealers, retailers, mesons and customers aware of quality of products in cement sector. Distributors and officials of cement sector shared their experience in products and supply chain management of cements and recommended improving the business model. Among others, Bashundhara Group adviser Maynal Hossain Chowdhury, Deputy Managing Director Mahbub-Uz-Zaman, Chief Marketing Officer (cement sector) Khandaker Kingshuk Hossain, King Brand Cement’s General Manager Abdul Latif and Accounts Department Head Pijirul Alam Khan were present at the meeting. Bashundhara Group has set an example in the country’s business sector by continuing facilities to its employees amid the pandemic situation.
