YouTube accords Gold Play Button to News24 TV

YouTube has accorded prestigious Gold Play Button to News24 Television, an electronic media of the country’s leading business conglomerate Bashundhara Group.

News24 TV Head of News Rahul Raha handed the Gold Play Button to Bashundhara Group Managing Director Sayem Sobhan Anvir at a ceremony at the latter’s residence at Bashundhara Residential Area in Baridhara of the capital Dhaka on Sunday.

Kaler Kantho Editor and Bashundhara Group’s media platform EWMGL Director Imdadul Haq Milan, Daily Sun Editor Enamul Hoque Chowdhury, Banglanews24 Editor Jewel Mazhar and Bashundhara Group high officials were present on the occasion.

Any individual or organisation qualifies for Gold Play Button from YouTube after crossing 1 million subscribers on the video-sharing platform. But News24 TV has had around 20 million subscribers right now.
