Bashundhara Shuvosangho distributed educational materials among the students of Bhola Night and Day Secondary School on Sunday. The event took place in the school’s auditorium, where Bashundhara Shuvosangho provided various educational supplies to students.
Mohammad Sharafat Hossain, Vice President of the Bangladesh Teachers’ Association (Bhola Sadar Upazila branch) and Advisor to the Bhola District branch of Bashundhara Shuvosangho, was present as the chief guest.
Special guests included senior teacher of the school and advisor of the school’s Shuvosangho branch Mohammad Sharif Al Mamun, Mohammad Abdur Rahman, Badal Chandra Dey, and Mohammad Sajib.
The event was presided over by Nuha Begum, President of Bashundhara Shuvosangho Bhola Night and Day Secondary School branch, and moderated by its General Secretary Juthi Akter. Also present were Bashundhara Shuvosangho Bhola District President Mohammad Shafayat Hossain, Vice President Abid Hossain, and General Secretary Mohammad Zahid Hasan.
During the programme, students received a variety of educational supplies from Bashundhara Shuvosangho, including geometry boxes, notebooks, calculators, pencils, scales, erasers, and pencil sharpeners.
The students were visibly overjoyed upon receiving the materials. Chief guest Mohammad Sharafat Hossain said, “Such educational support programmes will especially encourage students from underprivileged and distressed families to pursue their education more actively.”
One student, Mohammad Russell, said, “We are extremely happy to receive these supplies from Bashundhara Shuvosangho. These items will greatly benefit students in our school who are financially disadvantaged.”
District President of Bashundhara Shuvosangho, Mohammad Shafayat Hossain (Siam), stated, “Bashundhara Shuvosangho always stands beside students from poor and underprivileged families.”
He further added, “Educational material distribution is one of the key initiatives of Shuvosangho. Such activities will continue in various educational institutions across the island district of Bhola in the future.”
Nuha Begum, President of the school’s Shuvosangho branch, said, “Poor parents struggle to afford basic educational materials like notebooks and pens. Bashundhara Shuvosangho has stepped in to support these students by providing them with essential supplies.”
General Secretary Juthi Akter added, “Bashundhara Shuvosangho has brought smiles to the faces of disadvantaged students. Our activities will continue at Bhola Night and Day Secondary School.”
The guardians of the students expressed their appreciation, saying, “Our children are overjoyed to receive these supplies. We commend Bashundhara Shuvosangho for this noble initiative.”
