Bashundhara Group MD gets Best Excellence Award 2021

Bashundhara Group managing director Sayem Sobhan Anvir has received Best Excellence Award 2021 for his contribution to the advancement of the country’s trade and commerce.

Indian Importers Chambers of Commerce and Industry gave him the award at a function at The Westin Dhaka on Monday evening.

IICCI president Atul Kumar Saxena handed over the award to Sayem Sobhan Anvir.

Receiving the award, Sayem Sobhan Anvir thanked India for being beside Bangladesh all the time.

IICCI also arranged a reception for Indian high commissioner to Bangladesh Vikram Kumar Doraiswami.

Industries minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun attended the event as the chief guest and Gazipur mayor Jahangir Alam was present at the programme as the guest of honour.

IICCI vice-president Syed Shameem Reza and CEO Sukanta Kashari Sumon were present on the occasion.

Industries minister Nurul Majid said that friendship between Bangladesh and India had been renewed in all aspects including economic and trade relations.

Addressing the function, Indian high commissioner to Bangladesh Vikram Kumar Doraiswami said that the future of India and Bangladesh was seen through business.
