More than 6 hundred people of Brahmanbaria received treatment with the help of Bashundhara Eye Hospital

With the support of Bashundhara Eye Hospital and the initiative of Khakchail Fakir Memorial Foundation School authorities of Brahmanbaria Sadar Upazila, more than six hundred people of the village have been given free eye treatment services.

On Tuesday (December 31), the patients were treated at the 'Fakir Memorial Foundation School' established in Khakchail village of Sadekpur Union of Brahmanbaria Sadar Upazila from morning to afternoon.

Bashundhara Eye Hospital and Research Institute and vision care foundation with the support of the founder of Fakir Memorial Foundation, former vice-chancellor of Green University. Md. Golam Samdani Fakir organized this exceptional service program.

Dr. Bashundhara Eye Hospital and Research Institute Senior Consultant. Md. Saiful Islam, Consultant Dr. A team of eight people led by Qazi Adnan and camp organizer Abu Tayyab provided medical care to the patients from 11 am to 4 pm.

Meanwhile, the former vice-chancellor of Green University. Md. Golam Samdani Fakir, founder and chief executive officer of Management and Skill Development Institute. Sushil Kumar Sarkar, Headmaster of Fakir Memorial Foundation School. Abdun Noor and many others were present.

Dr. Md. Saiful Islam said that the names of more than four hundred patients had already been recorded. By afternoon, 40 patients were selected for cataract surgery. Many have been given prescriptions as well as necessary medicines as first aid. Bashundhara Eye Hospital and Research Institute will conduct free operation on selected patients from among them.

Meanwhile, the common people of the village and school students are happy to get free treatment through Bashundhara Eye Hospital within reach without going to Dhaka or district headquarters.

Dr. Fakir Memorial Foundation founder. Md. Golam Samdani Fakir said that this is their initiative to make the common people of the village aware about i-site. This program which has been going on for the past few years will continue in the future. He expressed his gratitude to Bashundhara Group for providing free eye treatment and medicines to the common people of remote villages.
