Ekushey award winning journo Ranesh Maitra calls upon govt to scrap ‘Digital Security Act’

Ranesh Maitra, Ekushey award winning journalist from Pabna, called upon the government to scrap ‘Digital Security Act’.

He said the Digital Security Act is affecting journalist community and is being used as a tool for harassment in some places.

Ranesh Maitra came up with the remark at Bashundhara Media Award-2021 ceremony at  the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in the capital Dhaka on Monday.
