Sheikh Jamal thrash Arambagh in goalfest

Lt Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Dhanmondi Club Ltd trampled Arambagh Krira Sangha by 6-4 goals courtesy of a hat-trick by Raphael Onwrebe in their Bangladesh Premier League match at Bangabandhu National Stadium in the capital on Monday.
Sheikh Jamal went on the offence since the start of the play and the strategy soon paid off as Jamal’s Nigerian forward Raphael Onwrebe scored the first goal of the match on the 7th minute.
Arambagh were not disheartened by this early blow as they soon recovered and went on the counter attack. They managed to level the score line on the 15th minute courtesy of a terrific goal by Arambagh forward Mohammad Hasan.
Arambagh continued with their attacking play and soon took the lead of the match with Mohammed Shahrier Bappy scoring another goal on the 22nd minute.
The man with the hat-trick Raphael came to Sheikh Jamal’s rescue and scored his second goal of the match on the 40th minute thus levelling the score-line again. He didn’t stop there and scored his third one on the 3rd minute of the added time of 1st half.
In the second half, Jamal striker Solomon King Kanform extended their lead by scoring his first goal of the match on 49th minute. This goal was followed by another one from Jamal’s local gem Nurul Absar on the 56th minute.
The match came alive once again in the final moments with Solomon King Kanform scoring thea fine goal on the 90th minute.
The game took another wild turn with Arambagh coming back to the match on the 92nd minute as Arambagh international Alamli Bukola Olalekaw turned a penalty shot into goal but without much success.
