Additional Managing Director of the Bashundhara Group Safwan Sobhan attended at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong on the final day of the third and final Test of Bashundhara Cement Test Series on Sunday. The Test series ended with a historic 3-0 victory against visiting Zimbabwe. Bangladesh has whitewashed the visitors. Safwan Sobhan, a sport lover and the Additional Managing Director of the Bashundhara Group, enjoyed the final victory of the tigers and made himself a part of this historic moment by attending the prize giving ceremony along with the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) President Nazmul Hassan Papon. He also handed over the ‘Man of the Series’ trophy to Shakib Al Hasan. Bashundhara Cement, an Industrial concern of the Bashundhara Group, is the title sponsor of the ongoing series. Bangladesh will play five One Day International (ODI) matches against Zimbabwe. The ODI Series will start on Nov 21 at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong. The second match will be also played at the same venue on Nov 23.
