World class football will begin from now: Sobhan Anvir

Legendary sports patron and Managing Director of country's largest industrial conglomerate Bashundhara Group, Sayem Sobhan Anvir has taken over as the Chairman of the Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra Ltd recently. Sayem Sobhan told the media in a press conference held on Friday at a local hotel, they have come here to be the champion.
"World class football will begin from now on. We want to take challenge. Development of our football will be beginning from here," said Sayem Sobhan.
He also said, "We want to build Sheikh Russel as like as International standards. We want the country's number one game will be football. Sheikh Russel always made their team to win the title. Also for this year we have formed a strong team. Hope it will be our year."
Senior sports organisers and patrons welcomed the newly made Chairman of the Sheikh Russel KC.
Players of the Sheikh Russel football team have become very much delighted as Sayem Sobhan took over the charge. Sheikh Russel KC is set to start with a new energy in the New Year, with new passion along with financial security. Hopefully they will also get new playgrounds.
Recently, Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra completed the players' registration through transfer window for the ensuing football season roping a good number of national players. Nine National players Zahid Hasan Emily, Mithun Chowdhury, Zahid Hossain, Hementa Vincent Biswas, Atiqur Rahman Mishu, Tapu Borman, Russel Mahmud Liton, Mohammad Yasin and Sohel Rana included in the new look Sheikh Russel KC.
National football striker Zahid Hassan Emily told that if a quality team and an academy can be set up then everything will be tuned. Emily also said, "Players are supposed to get regular salary and bonus. The team is very much organised now. We are expecting a good season this year if all facilities are timely provided."
