Cement sector CBA leaders appreciate Bashundhara Group

Workers’ union leaders in Bashundhara Group cement sector have appreciated the business conglomerate for providing facilities to the employees amid the pandemic situation.

The appreciation came when a delegation of CBA in Bashundhara Industrial Complex and Meghna Cement Mills in Mongla called on Bashundhara Group Managing Director Sayem Sobhan Anvir at the latter’s residence in the capital on Tuesday.

CBA (collective bargaining agent) is an organisational process to stand by the labour of any organisation following the local laws.

After the meeting, the delegation led by CBA President Abul Bashar handed over a crest to the Bashundhara Group managing director for taking courageous step for the well-being of all workers in cement sector.

Bashundhara Group has been leading in the country's cement market with two established brands -- Bashundhara Cement and King Brand Cement.

Bashundhara Group has set an example in the country’s business sector by continuing facilities to its employees amid the pandemic situation.
