Bashundhara Launches Premium Laminated Series Exercise Book

The country’s leading business conglomerate Bashundhara Group has launched premium laminated series exercise book to meet huge demand. Yeasha Sobhan, Director of the Bashundhara Group formally launched the premium laminated series at the conference room of Bashundhara Industrial Headquarters-2 at Bashundhara Residential Area in the capital on Tuesday. Md. Masuduzzaman, Head of Sales (Tissue, Hygiene, A4 Paper and Exercise Book), Mirja Mujahidul Islam, Head of Accounts, Paper Sector, Md. Masudur Rahman, Head of Sales, Paper Products, and Mohammad Towfique Hasan, General Manager, Business Development & Business Intelligence, Paper Sector, Bashundhara Group were present on the occasion. Md. Masuduzzaman said, Bashundhara Group is working for the development of the country and promoting education. He said, the premium series products are available in all stationery shops and book stalls across the country. “Bashundhara Group also provides customized exercise books to different institutions including Motijheel Model School, Notre Dame College, Cambrian College, BAF Shaheen School and College, Mirpur Adorsho School and Commerce College etc as per customers’ requirements,” he said. Masuduzzaman said, Bashundhara Group started this business in 2012 and annual sales was 50 tonnes at that time, while the sales has increased to 1000 tonnes in 2016. Bashundhara is the unbeaten market leader in its category. He said, Bashundhara Paper Mills Ltd meets the growing demand for paper in the country by producing different grades of paper. The mills produce exceptionally high quality product of international standard and is enjoying about 35 percent share in exercise book and writing paper market of the country out of total Tk 300 crore annual business. They have about 80 percent market share in total paper industry. They are also providing large volume of quality paper as import substitute products and reduced the gap between demand and supply of paper in the country. They also helped import of paper and saved huge amount of hard earned foreign currency, Masuduzzaman said. Bashundhara Group Director Yeasha Sobhan handed over laptop and smart phones as awards to the winning consumers of A4 size paper at the prize-giving ceremony at the same venue. Of the three winners, Interstoss Apparels Ltd official Md. Al Amin received a laptop and Brac Bank officer Md. Abdur Razzak and Masihata Sweaters Ltd official Md Shohag Mia got smartphones. Two were awarded as scratch card winner and another as the largest consumer of A4 size paper in September under the “Bashundhara A4 size paper mobile recharge offer-II”.
