Visiting internationally renowned Islamic scholars called on Bashundhara Group Managing Director Sayem Sobhan Anvir on Saturday. Sadrul Mudarris from Amroha Madarsa, the oldest Islamic education centre in India, and Syeed Mufti Affan Mansurpuri, met with this eminent businessperson at his residence in Dhaka. They were visiting Bangladesh at the special invitation of the Bashundhara Group Managing Director, said a press release. Imams and representatives from different mosques and madrasas across Bangladesh accompanied the scholars during the meeting. Mufti Rashid Ahmad, Maulana Ihsan Ullah, Maulana Sadruddin Maknoon, Mufti Mohammad Ruhul Amin, Mufti Sakhawat Hossain, Mufti Sharif Hossain, Mufti Mekdad Hossain, among others, attended the event. Scholar Affan Mansurpuri expressed satisfaction after learning about the role of the Bashundhara Group in the promotion and expansion of the Islamic faith. He also conducted a special dua munajat, praying for the welfare of the Bashundhara Group and the people of Bangladesh. The managing director of Bashundhara Group sought his cooperation so that he could serve more for the welfare of Islam.
