Vice-Chairman of Bashundhara Group Shafiat Sobhan Sanvir inaugurated 15 modern buses for Bashundhara officials, employees

In line with its commitment to ensuring welfare of its officials and employees, Bashundhara Group, the country’s largest business conglomerate, added 15 new air-conditioned buses to its fleet of vehicles for transporting them to their workplaces safely and comfortably. Vice-Chairman of Bashundhara Group Shafiat Sobhan Sanvir inaugurated the modern buses at a ceremony held at Bashundhara Industrial Headquarters at Bashundhara Residential Area in the capital on Thursday. Shafiat Sobhan Sanvir said this bus service has been introduced to make the commute of officials and employees of Bashundhara Group from different parts of the city convenient and hassle-free. They will now be able to commute to the workplace and return home safely. Besides, the transport facilities will help increase their efficiency, he added. Later, Vice-Chairman Shafiat Sobhan Sanvir handed over the keys to the drivers of the buses. High officials of Bashundhara Group were present at the ceremony. Vice-Chairman Shafiat Sobhan Sanvir also cut a cake, celebrating the event. Each bus, equipped with air-condition facilities, has 30 seats. It will operate on different routes in the city to transport the officials and employees of the company to their workplace. Officials and employees of Bashundhara Group expressed joy at the introduction of the bus service.
