Bashundhara Group stands by newspaper hawkers

Bashundhara Group has provided financial assistance for three newspaper hawkers’ associations and Bangladesh Newspaper Agent Association amid the Covid-19 pandemic. Bashundhara Group Managing Director Sayem Sobhan Anvir on Saturday handed over cheques to the leaders of the newspaper hawkers’ associations at a programme in Bashundhara Residential Area in the capital. Daily Sun Editor Enamul Hoque Chowdhury, Bangladesh Pratidin Editor Naem Nizam and Kaler Kantho Editor Imdadul Haque Milan were present on the occasion. Dhaka Sangbadpatra Bahumukhi Somabay Samity Limited president Abdul Manan, Sangbadpatra Hawkers’ Kalyan Bahumukhi Samabay Samity Limited general secretary Hazi Muhamamd Shahbuddin. Patrapatrika Bitarankari Bahumukhi Samabay Samity Limited circulation manager Sadequl Islam and Bangladesh Sangbadpatra Agent Association’s organising secretary Mohammad Ali received the cheques. Bashundhara Group Managing Director Sayem Sobhan Anvir also wished the hawker leaders a happy Eid-ul-Azha.
