Bashundhara Group has donated Tk 69 lakh to set up a Polymeric Chain Re-Action laboratory to conduct COVID-19 tests in Rangamati. Bangladesh Economic Zones Authority executive chairman Paban Chowdhury, also coordinator of the relief distribution programme and health management work in the district, handed over a cheque for the money to Rangamati civil surgeon Bipash Khisa on Friday morning. Rangamati deputy commissioner AKM Mamunur Rashid, superintendent of police Md Alamgir Kabir and other higher officials were present on the occasion. DC Mamunur Rashid expressed his gratitude to Bashundhara Group and secretary Paban Chowdhury on behalf of the people of Rangamati.
