ICCB to host lifestyle fair ahead of Eid
International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) is going to host ‘South Asian Fashion and Lifestyle Fest’ to promote the apparel sector and also to share the knowledge among the participants.
Ahead of the country’s biggest festival Eid-ul-Fitr, the international lifestyle fest will begin on June 12 at ICCB hall-2 in the capital.
The fair will offer the best lifestyle experience to the people as the participants are expected to come up with the array of apparel, jewelry and cosmetics products.
Organisers said that best and renowned fashion and lifestyle brands from India, Thailand, China and Bangladesh will take part in the fest with their best products.
MM Jasim Uddin, Head of Operations of ICCB said that the ICCB is going to arrange the international lifestyle event with 100 stalls to create a smart platform of fashion and lifestyle.
He said, three seminars will be held during the fest with the participation of fashion and lifestyle icons, fashion conscious people from the participant countries so that they can create share designs over the lifestyle.
Describing a set of features, MM Jasim said that alongside the fest, two icons or celebrities from different sectors like fashion, lifestyle, film and media will visit the fest ground and choose two best products daily.
The chosen products will be shown in the display corner. Besides, the fest will have selfie zone, adda zone, change zone, interaction zone and beauty tips corner for the visitors, he continued.
“We have taken a signature event to provide the fashion conscious people a new experience of wearing, sharing the trends of products and motivate the young entrepreneurs. People will get a fantastic event ahead of the Eid where they can analysis and collect the products”, said MM Jasim Uddin.
Organisers hoped that the fest will create a new platform for the lifestyle and fashion designers and related people in the South Asian countries.
The fair will begin at 11am and remain open till 10pm during the fair. The fair will end on June 30.
