Bashundhara Kings inks deal with two booters
Top tier football club of the country Bashundhara Kings penned down contracts with two more footballers for their upcoming Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2018-19 campaign at Bashundhara Kings Headquarters in Bashundhara Residential Area on Monday.
Mamun Ali, who played for Farashganj Sporting Club Ltd and Sohanur Rahman, former player of Chittagong Abahani Ltd, will be wearing Kings’ jersey in this season of BPL football.
Bashundhara Kings President Imrul Hasan and its General Secretary Minhajul Islam Minhaj represented the club in the contract signing ceremony yesterday.
The club officials hoped that Kings will bring a fresh competition in the BPL tournament and will be a force to reckon with in the future.
Earlier, Bashundhara Kings roped in Mannaf Rabby, Krishna Kumar, Shoaib, Rakibul Hasan Tushar, Hemonto Vincent Biswas, Didarul Haque, Salahuddin, Towhidul Alam Sabuj, Nurul Nayeem Faisal and Mohammad Ibrahim for Kings’ maiden stint in the premier football of the country.
As part of free transfer regime, the players were signed in. Bashundhara Kings retained two of their players from their Bangladesh Championship League 2017-18 campaign as binding players.
Bangladesh Premier League football season of 2018-19 is slated to kick off on November 23.
