Bashundhara Group Chairman condoles
Bashundhara Group Chairman Ahmed Akbar Sobhan has expressed propound condolence at the death of veteran politician, one of the organizers of Liberation War and founder chairman of Mercantile Bank Limited.
In a message on Thursday he termed Abdul Jalil a pioneer of movement for restoration of democracy in Bangladesh and said he made tremendous contribution to the economic development and progress of the country. One of the objectives of Abdul Jalil’s banking policy was to boost country’s industrialization and advancement, he said adding that the late leader also made contribution behind the preservation of the documents of country’s historic War of Liberation.
Bashundhara Group Chairman Ahmed Akbar Sobhan prayed for the salvation of the departed soul of Abdul Jalil and conveyed deep sympathy to his bereaved family.
