Housing and Public Works Minister Engineer Mosharraf Hossain lauded Bashundhara Cement for maintaining world-class standard in manufacturing cement.
The minister said this while visiting a stall of Bashundhara Cement after inaugurating a comprehensive exhibition.
The comprehensive exhibition includes four expositions – the 18th Con-Expo, the 16th Real State Expo, the 10th Solar Bangladesh and the 15th Power Bangladesh, organised by an international exhibition organiser CEMS-Global.
The minister visited the Bashundhara Cement stall and talked to the officials about the quality of the cement.
Bashundhara Cement, a sister concern of the country’s largest business conglomerate Bashundhara Group, produces best quality cement using VRM (Vertical Roller Machine) technology.
The officials of the company said this while talking to daily sun on the opening day of the three-day international comprehensive fair that kicked off at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) at Kuril in the capital on Thursday. Bashundhara Cement is participating in the fair.
Bashundhara Cement has installed a stall at the fair site to allow visitors, trade delegates, industrialists, importers, distributors and agencies know about the country’s best cement ‘Bashundhara Cement’.
At the stall, visitors will get all kinds of information about the Bashundhara Cement’s technology, machinery and materials and its quality.
Stall sources said that Bashundhara Cement is being used in the country’s iconic project Padma Bridge. It is also being used in the bridge construction project, Padma Bridge river training work and approach road construction work.
They also said they are receiving positive response from the visitors of the fair.
Engineer Soroj Kumar Barua, Deputy General Manager (technical support) of Bashundhara Cement and other officials of the Bashundhara Cement were present at the stall.
