Bashundhara Cement, a concern of the country’s leading business conglomerate Bashundhara Group, arranged two separate conferences for masons in Faridpur and Rangpur on Thursday and Saturday.
In Faridpur, the event was held at Zilla Parishad Dak Bungalow at Boalmari in the district.
KM Iftekhar Mahmud, sales manager (Barisal division) of Bashundhara Cement, attended the programme as the chief guest while Md Mizanur Rahman Mridha Milon, vice-chairman of Boalmari upazila parishad, attended it as the special guest.
Local distributor Sahidul Islam Liton presided over the programme.
Md Hafizur Islam, manager (Faridpur area) of Bashundhara Cement, among others, also spoke on the occasion.
Later, a raffle draw was held and the winners were presented gifts on behalf of the Bashundhara Cement.
In Rangpur, around 75 masons from different parts of the district and dealers and distributors of Bashundhara Cement participated at the conference and workshop held at Restaurant & Party Centre on Station Road in the town.
Md Ziaul Islam, sales manager (Rangpur division) of Bashundhara Cement, attended the programme as the chief guest while Zahirul Islam, engineer (product service) of Bashundhara Cement, explained various qualitative aspects of the brand.
Sahadat Hossain, area sales manager of Bashundhara Cement, product service engineer Safiqur Rahman, Khalil Mia, president of Rangpur Construction Workers’ Union, and executives Raju Ahmed, Abdullah and Sahabul Islam spoke on the occasion.
