Bashundhara Cement holds masons’ confce in Keraniganj
Bashundhara Cement, a concern of the country’s leading business conglomerate Bashundhara Group, arranged a conference for masons at Amirabagh in Keraniganj on Wednesday.
Over 100 masons, dealers and retailers from different parts of the area attended the programme.
The masons were imparted training on proper and proportionate use of cement and other materials to ensure durability of a structure at the programme.
Saroj Kumar Barua, deputy general manager (technical support) of Bashundhara Cement, Md Palash Akter, divisional sales manager (Dhaka-2) of Bashundhara Cement, Md Saiful Alam, area sales manager (Keraniganj) of Bashundhara Cement, and manager (event) Saiful Islam Rubel were present on the occasion.
Speakers said produced in automated machines following German technology, Bashundhara Cement is the country’s largest industry in this sector having a capacity of producing 5.05 million tones.
Bashundhara Cement is used in the construction of Padma Bridge, river training for the project, approach road, Mohipal flyover and other mega structures, they added.
Besides, the quality of Bashundhara Cement and its technical aspects in construction work were explained through a power-point presentation at the programme.
