Bashundhara Cement, a sister concern of the country’s leading business conglomerate Bashundhara Group, organised a conference for masons in Jhenaidah on Tuesday.
More than a hundred masons from several upazilas of the district took part in the conference held at a restaurant in Kaliganj upazila of the district.
At the conference, the masons were informed about the quality and technical aspects of the Bashundhara Cement.
Md Imam Faruk, assistant general manager (sales) of Bashundhara Cement (west zone), was present at the programme as the chief guest while M Selimuzzaman, Kaliganj distributor of Bashundhara Cement, presided over it.
Ziaur Rahman, deputy manager (Khulna) of Bashundhara Cement, Md Jahangir Hossain, president of Jenaidah Cement Distributors’ Samity, Technical Support Engineer Md Kaoser Hossain and Sohel Uddin, president of Kaliganj Construction Workers’ Union, and its general secretary Dablu Rahman, among others, were present.
The programme was followed by a raffle draw.
