Bashundhara Cement holds mason confce in Jamalpur

Bashundhara Cement, a concern of the country’s leading business conglomerate Bashundhara Group, arranged two separate conferences for masons in Jamalpur on Monday.
As part of the countrywide programme for masons initiated by Bashundhara Cement, the events were held at Jony Trading at Madhupur and at Samad Parvez Memorial Women’s Degree College at Islampur in the district respectively.

attended the programmes as chief and special guests
respectively.
At Madhupur, Tarek Ahmed, proprietor of Jony Trading Corporation, presided over the conference.
Among others, ASM Md Atikur Rahman of Tangail, Engr Shariful Islam and Tawfiqul Islam spoke on the occasion.
At Islampur, Bashundhara Cement distributor Ahmedul Kabir, also proprietor of Al-Amin Traders, presided over the conference.
The chief guest, in his speech, said Bashundhara Cement is the largest industry in this sector having production capacity of 5.05 million tons.
This cement is being manufactured following VRM technology of Germany to boost strength of a structure while its quality is ensured by using computer at every stage from raw material collection to final output, he added.
Bashundhara cement is being used in mega projects, including construction of Padma Bridge, approach road and river training, he further added.
At the conferences, the masons were also imparted training on proper and proportionate use of cement and other construction materials to ensure maximum strength and durability of a structure.
