Bashundhara Cement, a concern of the country’s leading business conglomerate Bashundhara Group, organised a conference and training programme for the masons at Haziganj in Chandpur on Wednesday.
Held at a hotel in Haziganj, the conference was attended by over 200 masons, construction workers, contractors, distributors, agents and eminent citizens of the area.
Mohammad Ali Khan, Divisional Manager of Bashundhara Cement, graced the event as the chief guest.
Speaking on the occasion, Area Manager Shariful Hasan explained various qualitative aspects of the brand. Besides, engineers Asaduzzaman and Towfique gave pictorial description of Bashundhara Cement through power-point presentations.
Md Nazrul Islam, owner of Janakalyan Traders and Bashundhara Cement’s distributor in Kachua, Haziganj and Shahrasti areas, presided over the conference.
The attending masons and contractors praised Bashundhara Cement for its good quality.
Divisional Manager Mohammad Ali Khan mentioned the use of Bashundhara Cement in the under-construction Padma Bridge project. This brand has won people’s confidence to a great extent as it is being used for construction of dream project Padma Bridge and other important structures.
He assured the masons of Bashundhara Group’s support for promotion of their life standard.
The conference was followed by a diner. The masons were presented with gift items.
