Bashundhara Ad-din Hospital docs provide free treatment in Munshiganj

Bashundhara Ad-din Medical College and Hospital on Wednesday administered treatment and medicine to more than 1000 poverty-stricken people free of cost at a daylong free medical camp in Mathpara area in Munshiganj on Wednesday.
Deputy Commissioner of Munshiganj Saiful Islam Badal inaugurated the camp in the morning.
The medical camp was organised by Apex Club Munshiganj in association with Bashundhara Group in memory of Prof Hamidur Rahman, who was the lawmaker of 1970 National Parliament and treasurer of Bangladesh Awami League, and Flight Lt Jamal Uddin Chowdhury, the then Muktijoddha Sub-Command member.
Among others, Civil Surgeon of Munshiganj Dr Md Shahidul Islam, Assistant Director of Bashundhara Ad-din Medical College and Hospital Dr Wahida Hasin, Chief of Eye Department of Bashundhara Ad-din Medical College and Hospital Associate Professor Dr Ruhul Amin, Director of Apex Bangladesh National Services Asaduzzaman Kanchon, Moin Chowdhury of Apex Bangladesh District Governor-1, General Secretary of Apex Club Munshiganj Lavlu Molla, Masud Parvej Emon, Advocate IK Jasim, Anwar Hossain and Mokbul Hossain were present.
The free medical camp was conducted under the supervision of Bashundhara Ad-din Medical College and Hospital Manager Tayabur Rahman, Dr Wahida Hasin, Dr Ruhul Amin, Dr Shafayet Jamin, Dr Md Yusuf Hira, Dr AKM Saifuzzaman, Dr Sharmin and Md Siddiqur Rahman Sumon.
Bashundhara Ad-din Medical College Hospital has earned a good name for standing by the poor through providing medical services for them at a nominal charge or free of cost.
